We are very pleased with our new shower door. It came delivered to our door and amazingly, was not damaged in any way. It is heavy and according to our contractor, it is a good-quality product. I would have given it a five-star rating but it does have one draw-back-- our contractor explained to us after we had it installed by a professional installer, that the glass is actually regular glass--not shower door glass--so it doesn't have the special coating that shower door glass would normally have. He said that might explain why the price is cheaper than getting a shower door elsewhere. Also, his tip for cleaning it was to squeegie the glass door everytime you shower, otherwise, because it doesn't have the special coating, the glass would tend to spot. We've been using it about 3 weeks now, and I must admit, it takes longer to squeegie it down after every use, but it does seem to be working--the glass still looks clear and beautiful. The other minor problem I would mention is that when the product is delivered off the truck, there is a big notice on the box which says not to accept the package until you've examined the product. This, however, is quite impractical to do, as the item is extremely heavy and awkward to open and you have to do it gingerly. I could not imagine doing this on my front lawn. Overall, it was a good price, installed with no problems with a professional installer, and looks nice.
