We needed to replace a very old toilet that had funky flush balls that we could not find available anywhere anymore and was leaking/wasting too much water.

We looked locally and on the internet. This Mexican Sand color was the color we were looking for, and we wanted an elongated bowl, so we ordered this Kohler Kelston elongated bowl in Mexican Sand.

The shipper contacted us and scheduled a delivery. Delivery was fine (took a week or so). Toilet was undamaged, except... somehow it was missing instructions and a rubber tank connection gasket and connection bolts.

We found instructions on the Kohler website. Found part numbers for the bolts and gasket. Found the bolts at the local Lowe's for a few bucks, and found the gasket on Amazon for a few more bucks. It was annoying that we were without a second household toilet for an additional few days waiting on a dang rubber gasket that should have been shipped with the toilet. But we got it all installed and really like the toilet now.

The Mexican Sand color is perfect, exactly what we wanted. The toilet is perfect height and comfortable. It only uses 1.6 gal/flush, so like most modern toilets, it lacks the brute force of old toilets' flushes, but is better on the water bill.

Because all the local stores (Lowe's, Menards, Ace, etc) only stocked toilets in white, white, off-white, and white... we are very happy we found this Mexican Sand toilet in the elongated bowl design we wanted. Even with the runaround locating a rubber gasket and bolts, we would do it over again since we got exactly the toilet we wanted for a still very reasonable price.

Also... be sure to note that this toilet does not come with a seat. You will need to order/buy an elongated toilet seat and a wax ring before you go to install. We got the matching Kohler elongated Mexican Sand seat and are happy with it, too.
