Blanco 440603 Purus I Kitchen Faucet with Metal Side Spray, Polished Chrome Review

(I wish I could leave zero stars.) The side spray is actually useless BY DESIGN! Not mentioned in any of the product descriptions I saw on Blanco's site is this little tidbit (which I found on a plumbing supply site AFTER spending hundreds of dollars on the faucet):

"NOTE: Side spray does not offer an actual 'spray' feature. The water flows out as it does from the main faucet, in an aerated stream the side spray is intended to be a hand-held extension of the main faucet."

Before I saw that sentence, I had called Blanco and complained about the lack of force in the side sprayer. They sent me a part which was not so easy to install. It now appears that my side sprayer was functioning properly, by their standards, all along. They call it a "side spray" in all their literature, but it isn't supposed to spray at all. USELESS.

In addition (as if the non-spraying sprayer isn't bad enough) the hose weighs a ton and if you're using hot water, the handle gets extremely hot. It's hard to position your hand so it's not exposed to the heat.
