With it's stout 3/4" x 13" boring bar and almost infinitely positionable articulating arm you'll have the stability and control to create an amazing array of hollow forms. The highly durable industrial quality Laser Pointer Wall Thickness Gauge lets you know precisely where the cutting tip is at all times. This heavy duty system is designed and machined to extremely close tolerances to operate smoothly and all but eliminate any flex or play. The boring bar can be equipped with various carbide cutters to match the application or your turning preferences. The variety of accessories make the system easy to use and extremely versatile. Hollow Fast System: Tail Stock Review

After having read endless hour of blogs on the internet I pulled the trigger on this system mostly due to price. Admittedly I have no experience with any other system than free hand. But I would highly recommend this system. Very stout dog leg arm. It works flawlessly. The laser is great once you get use to reading the minute highs and lows. They include a couple cutters, one square roughing HSS and a finishing carbide. A Hugh improvement over Sorby or Crown free hand tools. Makes deep hollowing much more enjoyable. I no longer cringe when someone looks inside my deep vessels.
