It appears this same table is sold by several different manufacturers (MLCS, Grizzly, Yonico). Different name, same table. I bought the One from Yonico. So, here's my experience.I did a lot of research on router tables before making this purchase. I was looking for a router table to assist in making simple furniture for around the house (tables, chair, benches, desks, etc.). Nothing too fancy, and nothing with extremely tight tolerances. Just simple rustic furniture. And I didn't want to spend more than $200. I compared all of the following options and ruled them out as shown:
Skil benchtop router table with foldable legs. (Some reviews stated that the plastic folding legs allowed too much rocking. No thanks. I wanted something very sturdy with a dedicated base frame.)
Bosch benchtop router table. (Decent table, but small table area for the price.)
Ryobi benchtop router table. (Decent table and the cheapest option at $99, but some said they had issues with the router mounting plate being warped.)
Kreg benchtop router table (This was my second choice. Looks to be a nice table, but again has a small working surface.)
I knew the Kreg table would be the safest, and highest quality option. But, I decided to go with the Yonico table because it gave me the largest worksurface, stand alone base frame, and the most features; all for the price of a standard benchtop table from other manufacturers. I knew it would be a bit risky, because the quality from non-brand-name manufacturers tends to be sub-par. But again, I'm not building fine cabinetry, just rustic tables and such.
Upon receiving the router table, I would rate the quality at a B. Or, Acceptable. The edge around which the router mounting plate lays had several chips in the surface (see my uploaded pics.) Is this going to make a significant impact on my work? No, I seriously doubt it. I brushed a little glue in the chips to prevent further damage, and they'll be just fine.
Took me around 2.5 hours to build, including the drilling and mounting of my Skil 1817 router to the router table mounting plate. The mounting plate is made of ABS plastic. It's fairly thick, and I had no problem mounting my router to it. It also has adjustable set-screws in all four corners that allow you to raise or lower the plate to make it flush with the rest of the table. Even still, I wasn't able to get it perfectly flush. Another ding for the quality score there.
After mounting my router, I ran a few boards through it. Works just like a router table. Everything was sound. No crazy vibrations or movement in the table or fence. It was solid.
One issue I did encounter. The infeed and outfeed fences must not have been perfectly aligned, because my work piece would "catch" on the edge of the outfeed fence. To fix this, I simply swapped the infeed and outfeed fences. Problem fixed.
In conclusion, I would rate this product in the B- to B range. It gets the job done. It's probably not as precise or well made as the Kreg table, but it's large and sturdy (which is what i wanted). Again, I'm making rustic, vintage, shabby-chic furniture, so absolute precision is not entirely necessary for my projects. If I had to choose again, I might seriously consider the Kreg table over this one. Hope that helps!
