KOHLER K-1242-0 Mariposa 5-Foot Bath, White Review

This tub was just what we wanted for our bathroom remodel. It replaced an old enameled steel, which
just didn't provide enough room for a soak. We first saw this model in a local showroom, but the price
was much higher and out of stock -- it was available right away on Amazon. It was packaged carefully for
shipping, and arrived in great shape.

The tub is light weight, and easy to maneuver for installation. It does require an additional flange kit to finish
the surround for tiling, which we purchased from our local retailer. Be aware that it has a high side-wall, which
may be a problem for smaller children. We chose to install a good grab bar on the wall to assist with entry/exit.

The tub looks and works great, but the acrylic finish can scratch easily. Take extra care to use gentle cleaners,
and keep it covered during installation. We love the built-in arm rests when bathing, and the relatively flat floor
when showering. The whole family is pleased with this purchase.
