Adesso Venus Arc Lamp, Steel Review

We purchased this lamp to use as a work light for doing crafts, reading, etc. Its main virtues are that it has halogen bulbs that can be oriented and the brightness can be adjusted. The lamp is very elegant and made of good materials. It came in a large box but needed to be assembled. We never could find the instructions but eventually figured out how to assemble it. The one problem was that where the top part fit into the main stand we should have placed a large screw; however, the hole was misshaped so we could not insert the screw. This does not affect the function of the lamp as long as you are not in the habit of carrying it around by the top. If you do the bottom might fall off. Overall, this lamp seems to be a good value. Especially when compared to the really junky lamps out there.

Danze D560858BN Parma Single Handle 4-Port Shower Diverter with Trim, Brushed Nickel Review

First I gave this 4 out of 5 stars because I love the product and the quality, however, it is not labeled so you do not know which selection it is on. This could also be a plus as it will allow you to install it for different options other than what they suggest in the manual (shower head, hand held, and body sprayers).

Also, one other gripe was the fact that it does not allow (2) of the options to work together by themselves. To help me explain this I will use letters. It allows for option ̶0;A221;, “B”, or “C” to be used individually, or you can select (“A” + “B”) or (“A” + “C”) or (“A” + “BR21; + “C”). There is no option to use (“B” + “C”) together. Not a huge problem, but something a buyer should note.

Danze is a great product and has a great warranty. I have other valves and trim pieces installed in my house and when there have been problems with the finish on some of the brushed trim pieces (clear coat coming off) they have not asked any questions and have sent me new ones free of charge.

Amsec TF5517 Gun Safe 30 Miutes Fire Review

This is one of the best gun accessories I have ever purchased. This safe is very well constructed and well thought-out. My version of this safe came with the electronic lock, which lights up when operated, so it is good for use in a dark room. The lock is very easy to operate and makes it easy to quickly get in and out of the safe. The battery is easy to change. The door is heavy-duty, and swings easily on the massive hinges. Inside is very nice, with padded fittings for your rifles, and a nice padded shelf with sufficient space for several handguns. For a few dollars you can buy under-hangar gun holders such that you can fit eight or nine handguns on this shelf, 4 on top, 4 or 5 as under-hanging weapons. This is efficient use of space! The inside of the door provides for additional storage of speed loaders, magazines, or even additional handguns if you buy the door accessory. You can buy additional shelves from the manufacturer so that the safe will store even more handguns.

This is an excellent safe. It is relatively skinny in terms of width, so it will fit into a lot of spaces that you might not think are adequate for your gunsafe. Overall I am extremely pleased with this purchase. RJB.

PORTER-CABLE 55160 16-Inch Omnijig Joinery System Review

Got this yesterday through Amazon and this thing is awesome! Note, although it only does half-blind dovetails(and sliding dovetails) it does them flawlessly with little effort. I also have the Porter Cable 4212 dovetail jig which is pretty good, but this is built much better, is easier to use, and provides bullet-proof, perfect half-blind dovetails every time. With the PC 4212, it was more hit-and miss. I am using this with a Makita D-handle router that I also just got from Amazon and the combination is heaven-sent.
