Overall I am very happy with the quality of the fixture. I love being able to just turn the upper knob to adjust flow, knowing that the temp is set to where I want it. Below are my only issues with the product:1. On the unit I received back in January of 2011, the temperature control knob (the lower knob) is not made out of the same high quality metal as the flow knob (the upper knob). The temperature knob is actually made out of a cheap-o-feeling plastic. Danze may have addressed this since I purchased the unit back in January of 2011 because the temp control knob in the photo looks different from the knob on my unit. I am not sure what they are currently making the knob out of, but if plastic will bother you, I would call to confirm. It's not a huge deal to me, but it would be nice if it was made from the same solid feeling material as the rest of the fixture. A+ for all parts except for the temp knob.
2. I have a handheld shower head and sometimes when I remove it, the hose will get caught on the metal flow handle as I pull the shower head away from the wall. I wouldn't dock the product any stars for this... it's more of a head's up for anyone shopping for a fixture who plans to use a handheld shower head; you may want to consider getting a fixture with a round control knob (with no handles) so that you don't catch your hose on the handle. It's easy to avoid if you know to be mindful of it, but my concern is when guests use the shower they might not notice the hose getting caught on the handle and put a lot of torque on the fixture as they pull the shower head away from the wall.
3. Installers might not like that there isn't much room for error when making the cutout (rough in) for the fixture. The face plate/escutcheon is not very much larger than the hole needed for the valve. Measure twice, cut once! If the cutout is made even just a little bit too large, the escutcheon will not cover it (it's especially tight on the lower half of the valve).
