This light is the normal well built Kichler product. The mounting plate that was included in the box is flimsy and totally not safe to use. My electrician had to return (ie I had to pay another trip charge) to bring a beefier mount. Buy a heavy mount up front to avoid this. Overall I love the light. I have two of the four light and one of the one light. They are very pretty.
