The TS 75 EQ features a 6-1/4" blade (20mm arbor) with a 10 amp, 120V motor that can be adjusted from 2,000-5,200 RPM. Festool products can only be sold in the 50 states Festools TS 55 EQ keeps all the great features of its predecessor and adds new features that make the plunge saw more convenient, more capable, and more user-friendly. A new, larger Thumb Interlock makes it easier to switch on the power and pivot the blade down for cutting, while a new Blade Lock disconnects the power switch and locks the blade down in position for removal. Plunge cuts in the middle of a workpiece are easier than ever, since the riving knife is now spring-loaded and automatically retracts when plunging. The New and improved MFT is taller and is 15 lighter than the previous model (MFT 1080) but still provides a strong, sturdy, portable worktable whose guide rail, dual position fence, swivel unit, and stops make clean cuts and precise angles fast and easy. This multi-function table enables a Festool plunge saw to function as a chop saw, radial arm saw, and miter box. When used with Festool routers and saws, exact repeat operations are performed with ease. this saw is amazing! fast set up and smooth cuts. the factory blades aren't amazing though. they sre probably ok for the shop but I've been using this in a renovation job where something a little more robust is required. there are after market blades that do the trick. look up festool saw blades and they'll come up. The saw is a little under powered but this hasn't been a real problem. If you think you'll ever cut any thick stock go with the bigger model. There are times when i wish I had the bigger one. I haven't used the table much yet but it is seriusly sturdy and looks well thought out.
