Product Description

This is a version of the 3700 manual rotary table, except the worm housing has been replace with one that has a stepper motor mount at the end instead of a handwheel. A NEMA 23 size stepper motor is attached to the mount. If a dual shaft type motor is used, a handwheel (included) can be attached to the rear of the stepper motor for manual operation if desired. Sherline offers optional stepper motors as P/N 67127 or 67130 or you can use your own NEMA 23 motor, but the rotary table cannot be operated manually or CNC until a stepper motor is mounted. The table includes the same mounting clamps and chuck adapter as the 3700 manual table.

This was purchased for use on a third party mill. It works well for that. It is unique in several nice ways.
First it is more compact then most on the market (CNC or manual ones). Second it is fairly precise with low back lash
that can be nicely tuned away. Third as a CNC table it is priced very reasonably with very good quality.

It works well on third part mills (Sherline even offers an adapter plate for that). While I would not use it for the
heaviest duty work loads (its only a 4 inch table after all), it is a great lite to medium duty table! I am very
impressed with the design choices made on this table. I tested it out by making a threaded rode on my
CNC mill and it did a very good job on that.
