The Maxium Lighting 101271CSN 3 Light Island Light was ordered through Amazon to be installed over a moveable work island in a major kitchen remodel. The light arrived according to schedule but one of the glass shades was broken. After contacting Amazon, a replacement shade arrived almost immediately. Suspended from a slightly vaulted ceiling and connected to a dimmer switch, this fixture takes center stage. Most people entering the kitchen comment on how beautiful the fixture is. It has a classical appeal with a modern edge. The nickel metal finish complements the other stainless and brushed nickel accents in the kitchen. The glass shades are frosted warm white with more opaque white random "swirls" imbedded. The incandescent light emitted is more than adequate for a work island and food preparation and with the dimmer (not included, electrician supplied) softer for casual eating or sharing that special cup of coffee at the end of the day. I am extremely please with both the light fixture and service.
