When I received this product 2 1/2 months ago and opened the box I was amazed at how gorgeous it was as well as the faucet for our in progress remodeled bathroom . It was so shiny and very heavy . The price was so affordable to me for only wishing for polished nickel hardware. Well our shower head and handle were installed 4 weeks ago . We have yet to use the shower or install the faucet ( shiny and still in the box ) But this product tarnished so badly it looks like dull steel !!!!! UGH !! I don't know why or what to do . I would have preferred shiny chrome . When we talked to Kohler they said to wash it with vinegar and than polish it with Brasso. OMG ! What will I have to do to keep it shiny if that even works ! I cant imagine when that bathroom starts to get used .... I will install the faucet tomorrow and let you know what happens to that .
